Becky Burbach, PTA - Humphrey, NE - Columbus, NE “I have always been physically active and intrigued by the sciences. This field combines the best of both. After personally going through physical therapy and seeing a loved one go through it, I saw the life-changing effects physical therapy has. I can work with many people of all different ages and functional levels. When I help a person go from hating to walk because of pain to walking a couple of times each day because they no longer have pain, I feel good. Simple things like that can change a person completely. Every day is a new beginning for someone, and if I can help them get to living life again, that is the best feeling.
“I am a soft-hearted and caring person in general. I talk to patients so they will understand the goals we are trying to achieve and the reasons why we are doing things to get to their goals. I always remember that the patient and what they are feeling is more important than anything else that day, and I keep my attention and attitude with the patient. I try to give my patients the relief they want in an atmosphere that is kind, caring and hard-working. Patients deserve the feel good experience and good results.”
